In this online course, Dr Johann Lechner teaches the theoretical basics of NICO, as well as the knowledge for diagnosis and therapy of residual bone inflammation.
NICO – what does it mean?
Chronic inflammations in the jawbone are not uncommon. In most cases, these inflammation foci result from old, not optimally healed tooth extraction wounds, tooth attachments or foreign bodies. The result is a chronic overstimulation of the autonomic nervous system with sometimes serious problems for the entire body. This is called NICO – Neuralgia Inducing Cavitational Osteonecrosis. In addition to root canal treatment, NICO is another massive interference field for the entire body, which often prevents the patient from a complete recovery.
