MICROTHREADS FOR A MACRO EFFECT

The SDS microthread is positioned at the lower part of the tulip shape and at the upper part of the implant body and has a depth of 0.05 mm. This unique design averts damaging forces on the implant during implantation and increases the bone implant contact. ¹⁻²

The SDS microthreads are designed to convert shear force* (red arrow) into compressive force** (green arrow) in and around the microthreads.

Advantages:

SDS microthreads offer a better force distribution during implantation, foster osseointegration, supporting marginal bone formation leading to:

1.

Safe immediate loading
