Head of Finance
(m/w/d)

Job Description

 

  • You will be responsible for the professional and disciplinary management of our finance team in Switzerland and Germany - with a focus on accounting and operational financial management.
  • You will be responsible for controlling, including the preparation of forecasts, cost accounting and performance analyses.
  • You coordinate and manage the timely preparation of the monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with Swiss GAAP FER, HGB and IFRS as well as their consolidation.
  • You will manage the operational budget and forecasting processes and actively support the CFO in financial planning.
  • You are responsible for the coordination and successful execution of the annual audits and are available as an additional contact person at management level for external auditors.
  • You will ensure correct intercompany reconciliations and provide support with Group-wide transfer pricing. 
  • You continuously develop the internal control systems (ICS) and financial processes.
  • You will actively drive the further development and optimization of our finance system landscape (ERP, reporting, BI).
  • You are responsible for local tax issues in cooperation with external consultants.
  • You will coordinate closely with the US Finance team as part of the Group-wide forecasting, budgeting and reporting processes.
  • You are a sparring partner for the CFO and support related departments with financial and operational issues.


Requirements Profile

  • Several years of experience in a comparable management position in the financial sector - ideally in an international environment
  • In-depth knowledge of controlling, accounting and the preparation of financial statements in accordance with Swiss GAAP FER, HGB and IFRS
  • Practical experience in consolidation, intercompany reconciliation and supporting audits of financial statements
  • Confident handling of ERP systems (ideally MS Business Central / NAV) and reporting tools such as Power BI
  • Business fluent in written and spoken German and English
  • Structured, analytical way of working with a high focus on implementation and quality standards 
  • Personality with ambition, clarity, initiative and a genuine passion for excellence and development

  • You are the contact person for HR-related topics for employees and managers
  • You accompany our employees from guided entry to exit from the company
  • You prepare the payroll accounting together with our trustees
  • You are the contact person for authorities and partners for all HR-related topics
  • You create employment contracts, employment references, certificates
  • You are responsible for applicant management, from job advertisements and candidate preselection to conducting and scheduling interviews
  • You manage the electronic time recording system
  • You are involved in the planning and organization of employee events and BGM measures
  • You support the management in project work in the wider context of personnel management
  • You plan and organize meetings and events for the
  • You will be the further development / implementation of HR processes and HR tools
  • You support us in the development and optimization of strategic HR topics
  • You are actively involved the optimization of HR processes in the area of HR organization and personnel administration

Requirements Profile

  • You have successfully completed commercial training with a focus on HR / HR specialist and have several years of professional experience
  • You have in-depth knowledge of employment law and social security for Switzerland and ideally also for Germany
  • You are a team player with good communication and organizational skills
  • Independent, reliable and structured way of working
  • You have a high level of social competence, a sense of responsibility and discretion
  • Very good knowledge of German and good written and spoken English
  • Confident handling of MS Office applications and high IT affinity
